Current Opportunities

Employment opportunities for healthcare workers have never been as good as they are today. The demand for healthcare workers has surged across the developed world. More nursing professionals are now needed to care for a larger ageing population. In some countries, not many have pursued the nursing profession over the past 10 years. As the current groups of practicing nurses retire, there are fewer nurses who shall take their place. Such a confluence of developments has conspired to provide rewarding employment as well as emigration opportunities for the chosen candidates across many countries.

Filipino nurses rank high among the preferred nurses in the world because they are naturally caring, are very hard working, have good personalities and disposition, have a good command of the English language, are generally young, and easily adapt to foreign places. Even when already abroad, most maintain their ties with their families back home (i.e. financial commitments) such that the long term commitment to their jobs is enhanced. Most Filipina nurses were programmed to be nurses very early in life therefore are only too eager to seek jobs overseas. The Philippines have always graduated more nurses than could be absorbed into the local labor force, which is why the push for overseas deployment opportunities is so great.
